The Scientific Touch Typing Method: 8-Finger Muscle Memory
Touch typing is the motor discipline of typing without looking down at the keyboard. It relies on cerebellar muscle memory where each of your eight fingers is permanently anchored to a designated group of keys on the standard QWERTY layout. By anchoring on the Home Row (ASDF - JKL;), you eliminate the visual search penalty, allowing your thoughts to transfer directly to the screen at speeds of 40 to 80+ Words Per Minute (WPM) with 95%+ accuracy.
